What is a Dining Plan?

Your Dining Plan gets you access to tons of great food, coffee, snacks, and more, all across campus. These plans include Evert Meal Swipes for all-you-care-to-eat dining, Hawk Meals at spots like Benny’s Food Court and Flex Dollars you can access by swiping, your Susquehanna ID. No need to carry extra cards!

Swipes

Evert Meal Swipes

Meal Swipes can be used for all-you-care-to-eat meals, at Evert Dining Room. We offer three types of dining plans:

Unlimited Plans- choose from two plans that allow you to eat as often as you’d like.
Weekly Plan- which provides a set number of meals each week that you can use at your convenience throughout that week. Note: Unused weekly meals do not roll over to the next week.
Block Plans- for seniors and commuters, which provide a set number of swipes to use throughout the semester. Note: Unused block meals do not carry over to the next semester.

Dollars

Flex & SU Bucks

Flex is a set amount of dollars included with your dining plan that  you can use at all on-campus dining locations. They spend like a debit card, without the possibility of overdraft, but are not redeemable for cash. Flex Dollars expire at the end of the semester and are non-refundable.
SU Bucks are funds that you can add to your account and use at all on-campus Dining locations and for Grubhub campus dining. You can open an account with as little as $25. Unlike Flex, SU Bucks carry over from semester to semester as long as you remain enrolled at Susquehanna. You can add SU Bucks at any time — they’re a convenient backup when your Flex Dollars run low.

Exchange

Hawk Meals

Hawk Meals- Retail Meals

Hawk Meals can be used 2–3 times per day, depending on your selected plan, at retail dining locations including Benny's Food Court, Ele’s Eatery, Scholarly Grounds, Bento Sushi (Starbucks excluded).  Hawk Meal includes one complete meal and a beverage. For students on weekly or block plans, one Hawk Meal counts as one Meal Swipe. Please note that Hawk Meals vary by location.
